TETRA Remote Head
Operate a radio from your browser — or your helmet
Operate a Motorola radio from a browser — even with the radio itself tucked away, e.g. in a motorcycle case. On the move you work it without taking your gloves off: audio goes to the helmet intercom and you transmit with a wireless button on the handlebar.
What it does
- Two-way calls and transmitting from the browser
- Talkgroup selection and scanning, network and GPS view
- Full-duplex audio through the helmet intercom — hear and speak at the same time
- A wireless PTT button on the handlebar
- The radio can stay in the trunk or case
Sometimes the radio has to stay tucked away — in a motorcycle case, a car boot, a cabinet — and you still want to work it. Remote Head hands full control of a Motorola radio to a browser, and on a motorcycle straight into your helmet.
What it does
- Two-way calls and transmitting from the browser
- Talkgroup selection and scanning, network and GPS view
- Full-duplex audio through the helmet intercom — hear and speak at once
- A wireless PTT button on the handlebar
- Wi-Fi setup and a control panel from your phone
Where it helps
- A motorcycle — radio in the case, control in the helmet and on the handlebar
- Installs where the radio sits where the signal is good and you are elsewhere
- A comfortable control position without holding the radio in hand
